Signature Gown

In this module, we were tasked to make a signature gown that is representative of our personal design style and what we feel represents us.

The gown itself features an asymmetrical design that is representative of flower petals. The structure is achieved using boning through the bodice that allows the fabric to stand in the front and fold over smoothly behind. The beading is representative of dew drops on the surface of the petals and, combined with the satin, bring the appearance of a flower after a light morning mist.
